You would not believe the weather here in Central Utah. We had originally planned the Thursday previous to this shoot, and guess what happened. It was crazy windy and rainy and a no go for sure. So we rescheduled to the following Thursday! The weather was fine ALL WEEK… till Thursday came along! Luckly, we got a break in the weather and although it was a downpour just minutes before we were able to get some amazing pictures!

This gorgeous girl is a master at so many things and is so so so smart! Why couldn’t I have been this smart and pretty in high school?! She was so close to getting to be Valedictorian, but was awarded with as a Sterling Scholar and had a 4.0 GPA and got a 34 on her ACT!!! ( I think my max ACT was… 22? yeah…. not very good haha) Not only that, she was awarded with a FULL RIDE SCHOLARSHIP to Southern Utah University! She’s contemplating between being a teacher and a nurse. Her mom and my husband just barely went through nursing school together so GO NURSING, but either would be phenomenal.

Congrats to this sweet and gorgeous young lady for all the hard work and effort she has put in for everything in her life so far! She is going to go places and be so successful in life! I thought it would be cute and unique to have Becky, her mom, write a sweet little letter for Kelsey to read, so here it is:

Kelsey June, 

I love you so much! You are such a beautiful girl. I love the person you are! I love your curiosity for life! It has been such a joy to watch you learn and grow throughout your life! I love the awesome big sister you are, and the way you help your siblings when they need it, but more importantly the friend you are to them. I love how sweet you are with everyone you meet and the way you make everyone feel like a friend and the most important person. I love how smart you are and how modest you are about it! I love that you are my daughter and friend! You are an example of good to those around you! You are such a blessing to us! How could I have possibly survived without you over the past couple of years!  I am excited for you to open this new chapter in your life – I know you will do amazing things! Watch out SUU, here comes one amazing T-Bird!
