About a week before the Shrum families pictures they asked if I knew of any spots that still had color up the mountain so I decided to drive up and see if I could find any color for them. There was still some color at the base of cedar canyon but as far as I could drive before it got pitch black i could not find any color for them which was so sad. Because there wasn’t much color left we decided on a rustic looking building that is near the golf course. It was absolutely perfect for them. They were all wearing flannel and looking sharp, so that rustic background was meant to be for this shoot. The weather wasn’t too cold and everyone was having a blast. All three of them were so photogenic and easy to take pictures of.
They are a huge fan of comic con and love going every year. They definitely gave me some great information about it and it sounds intriguing. Cindy also made the comment that once the walking dead stops showing up though she is out; she won’t be going anymore without them there hahaha! Cindy was also a model while taking her pictures she just knew exactly what to do and rocked every minute of it. She told me that when she was younger, her mom had her take a makeup class so she knew what to do instead of putting that wild eye shadow on. So with that experience she had done some modeling. She is a pro at posing and just looking great behind the camera.
Once the shoot was over we still couldn’t get enough of each other, we just stood there and talked about everything. It was so fun to be able to just chat and have not have to worry about what to say it was so natural. I loved every minute of being able to be their photographer. Our repeat clients are so great. Especially when you get to capture the changes in them and how they appear every year. I’m always looking forward to when we do our next shoot.
